Sytenol® A bakuchiol
A purified, plant-derived active studied for improvements in the appearance of fine lines and uneven tone. Selected for its defined identity, documented purity and published research.
Tahitian vanilla
We extract our Tahitian vanilla in-house using an old-world, time-intensive process designed to preserve its delicate actives. We use organic Grade A Vanilla tahitensis beans sourced from an organic cooperative. The extract adds a beautiful natural scent, bringing a soft, warm note to the serum. Vanilla tahitensis extracts have also been studied for antioxidant activity.
Squalane + baobab
Squalane is a lightweight emollient that leaves skin feeling soft and supple with a silky finish. Baobab oil complements the blend’s nourishing feel.
Watermelon seed + buah merah
Distinctive botanical oils that complete the golden-orange blend and its supple finish.
The research behind our actives
A 2022 laboratory study investigated bakuchiol in skin-cell and epidermal models and found effects relevant to cellular renewal. It did not measure cellular turnover in the finished RENATURALS serum.
A 2019 randomized trial studied topical bakuchiol for the appearance of wrinkles and pigmentation. A 2020 study evaluated another serum combining bakuchiol and Vanilla tahitensis for skin firmness and radiance.
These studies inform our ingredient selection; they were not clinical tests of the finished RENATURALS formula.
