Siligel™ is easy to use (cold process, no pre-dispersion) and has an exceptional electrolyte tolerance (up to 20% NaCl), making it the ideal partner for formulations containing stressful ingredients. The versatility of Siligel™ leads to several applications either as a gelling agent, stabilizer, co-emulsifier, suspending agent, skin feel enhancer as a substitute of silicones and it even has moisturizing properties. Its natural origin with a sustainable green manufacturing process answers today’s demand for eco-friendly ingredients.

Siligel is preservative-free and eco-friendly. It provides an amazing silicone-like skin feel and a high resistance to electrolytes, due to its patented synergistic combination of phospholipids and polysaccharides. It is the natural solution to create robust formulations with no compromise between efficiency and aesthetics. It decreases the TEWL and high resistance to electrolytes. Siligel is suggested for use in cosmetics and personal care products.

USAGE instructions: for most applications, 1% Siligel is appropriate, check your individual recipe. To mix Siligel in the water phase, first mix with glycerin (4 to 5 grams per 1 gram Siligel works well to make a paste). Then add paste to water or add some water to paste, mix, and then add to water phase.
